The work described below was completed in collaboration with my team Jennie Armstrong, Dea Biličič, and Jen Lincoln at Delve, a mission-driven communications + design agency serving nonprofits + launching social good initiatives.
Alliance for Girls is a community-driven alliance of girl-serving organizations and leaders advancing gender equity and ensuring every girl can thrive.
Delve collaborated with Alliance for Girls over several years on a range of impactful projects. Our work included developing their brand identity and website, creating a compelling Theory of Change animation, designing a suite of collateral materials, and providing strategic communications support to guide significant organizational changes.
My role for this project included:
Supporting on strategic working sessions to shape website layouts, define core messaging, and guide design direction.
Overseeing project management from inception to launch using Asana.
Collaborating across teams to maintain momentum and align project goals.
Supporting the organization in onboarding their internal team to Asana, providing guidance and training to ensure a smooth transition and effective use of the platform.
Leading major updates to the website two years after its initial launch, enhancing page layouts, content, and overall site flow. Executed changes seamlessly to ensure uninterrupted access, with no glitches or incomplete information, providing users with a smooth, reliable experience.
Managing design collateral, coordinating between designers and the communications team to create cohesive assets.
Strategizing content development and illustrations aligned with values and told from a place of storytelling.
Designing visually appealing social media templates and crafted engaging content for events and organizational updates.
Style Guide
To determine a client’s brand we share a survey for the client to complete. Based on the information shared, we create 2-3 different visual identities including logos, font, colors, and sometimes icons, illustrations and banners. After 2-3 iterations of brand mock-ups, we arrive with the final visual identity!
